The Story Behind “the cut”
The Gentlemen’s Den has been a functioning barbershop for almost 40 years. The original owner, Jack, ran it for 32 years (it was then called The Barbers). The second owner had it for a year and a half. Rachelle then bought it and owned the shop for about 4 years, changed the name to The Gentlemen’s Den, and earned Best of Best Barbershop for Southern Oregon in 2017. The Gentlemen’s Den was purchased from Rachelle in 2019 by Nikki DeLaCruz. Nikki looks forward to maintaining the five-star status and continuing to build a good rapport with the customers!
Nikki DeLaCruz, The Gentlemen’s Den Owner, bought the barbershop because she was tired of working her butt off to support someone else’s family.
Nikki wanted to be able to offer income opportunities for other licensed barbers/stylists in the local Medford, Oregon area. She vowed to keep the environment positive and friendly for all patrons that want to look their best and have a place to relax.

I'm Nikki and haircuts have been my thing since the 80's. (If you count my old barbies, my experience starts there ;)
But really I started perfecting my skill on real people in the year 1999 and attained a professional licence several years later. Making people look good is what I do!

I have been cutting hair since 2007 and love what I do! I studied as an apprentice after cosmetology school where i was able to perfect my skills. I specialize with curls and layers.
I enjoy helping people look and feel their best =)

Everyone has something different they want or need with their hair, it's my job to make you look and feel like the best you possible =)
